Limewash plaster is an eco-friendly, mineral-based finish made from crushed, slaked limestone and natural pigments. Unlike standard acrylic paints that sit on the wall like a plastic film, limewash soaks into porous surfaces, creating a breathable, matte, and softly mottled texture with gentle, cloud-like tonal variations. Being highly alkaline, it is naturally mold and mildew-resistant. The finish matures and develops an attractive patina over time.
